About Us

Community Cats Initiative exists to reduce the number of unowned, free-roaming cats in our community using only humane methods, with a clear focus on Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) as the most effective long-term solution.

We are committed to treating every cat with dignity while helping both animals and neighborhoods live together safely and peacefully. We work alongside caregivers, veterinarians, and residents to create practical, compassionate solutions that truly last.

Our vision

📖

Our story

Community Cats Initiative began with a simple truth: ignoring outdoor cats or removing them does not solve the problem. We saw caregivers feeding hungry cats, neighbors feeling overwhelmed by kittens, and shelters stretched beyond capacity.

TNR provided a proven, humane path forward. From our first small colony to larger neighborhood projects, we have seen how spay/neuter, vaccines, and education can turn chaos into stability.
